Donate Money to American Red Cross of Lee County

The American Red Cross of Lee County relies heavily on the private contributions of individuals and businesses. We are proudly a United Way Agency, receiving 14% of our funding from our local United Way. However, the remaining 86% is generated through private donations, foundations and grants, revenue from our health and safety programs and some special events. We are not a government-funded agency; we are responsible for raising 100% of our operational budget each year.

Although Hurricane Katrina in 2005 set off the largest, most costly disaster relief operation in American history, with a flurry of national and international attention, most emergencies don't generate as much news. A house fire in Cape Coral or a loved one needing CPR in Bonita Springs may not be as widely reported on, but those are tragedies for those involved. In every single case, it is the mission of the American Red Cross of Lee County to help those in need—whether disaster strikes thousands of people at once in Lee County or one family in the middle of the night in Lehigh Acres.

Our job is never done—people always need us—every single day. Please help us continue our lifesaving work! Please make an online gift today!

Financial contributions to the American Red Cross of Lee County are tax-deductible.
