Leave a Legacy

Leave a Legacy Society of Lee County

The Lee County Chapter has established a “Legacy Society” to recognize and thank our generous donors who have made a gift to the American Red Cross of Lee County through their will, trust, gift annuity, life insurance, pooled income fund or any other estate planning method, regardless of the size of the gift.

The benefits of membership in the American Red Cross of Lee County’s “Legacy Society” include:

  1. A gold embossed Certificate of Membership;
  2. A handsome Legacy Society lapel pin;
  3. A listing annually in the Chapter’s Donor Honor Roll;
  4. An invitation to our planned Annual Legacy Society Reception (Spring 2007);
  5. A personal asset information portfolio; and
  6. Invitation to special “members only” events

How Can You Participate?

How can you create a lasting legacy that honors your philanthropic goals and helps those in need in Lee County? The American Red Cross of Lee County can assist you with preparing a planned giving program that is right for you and your personal intentions.

What is the secret to making a gift that will provide the greatest benefit to you and the American Red Cross? Part of the answer lies in careful planning and good organization. The best plans are created by first, deciding what your goals are and second, determining how to accomplish your goals. Planned gifts create opportunities for both the American Red Cross of Lee County and our donors.

Determining what gift is right for you is just as important as making the gift. There are a myriad of easy giving options from which you can choose — from naming us as a beneficiary in your will to a more complex trust arrangement. Ultimately the best plan for you will balance what you wish to accomplish for yourself, your family, and your charitable interests in your overall estate and financial plans.
