
First Aid/CPR/AED Courses
Child / Infant CPR & First Aid
This course teaches recognizing and caring for breathing, choking, and cardiac emergencies for Children and Infants (ages birth to 8 years old) and First Aid (identifying and caring for life threatening bleeding, sudden illness and injuries).
Standard First Aid w/AED
This course teaches Adult CPR (recognizing and caring for breathing, choking and cardiac emergencies), Automated External Defibrillation (AED) Training (the importance, general steps, skills, and safety precautions when using an AED) and First Aid (identifying and caring for life-threatening bleeding, sudden illness and injuries).
CPR Review
Individuals with current CPR certificates can be recertified in Adult, Infant, or Child Community CPR. Current certification and text are required. Please read textbook prior to class.
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
Training for the Professional Rescuer in single rescue skills and two-person rescue breathing and cardiac emergencies for adults, infants and children. Use of resuscitation mask and bag-valve mask will be taught in this course.
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Review
Individuals with current CPR/PR certificates can be recertified for successful completion of this program. Please read and study CPR/PR textbook prior to class. Bring textbook and current certificate to class.
First Aid
This course teaches individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic First Aid care for bleeding, injuries to muscles, bone joints and sudden illnesses. One certificate is issued for successful completion. Course length is 4 hours. Note: This class does not cover CPR.
Babysitter Training
Provides youth with the skills every parent wants in a babysitter including safety, basic child care, safe play, first aid and critical emergency action skills. Youth must be 11-years-old by the last day of class to receive a certificate.
Pet First Aid
This course provides assistance and guidance to people whose pets are ill or injured. Students will learn symptoms and care for common ailments and emergencies, instructions for creating a pet first aid kit, and tips on the pet's health and well-being. Course length is 4 hours.
INSTRUCTOR COURSES
First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor
For individuals interested in becoming Adult and Infant/Child CPR, Automated External Defibrillation (AED) and First Aid Instructors. Course length is 20 hours. Prerequisites: Must pass skill and written tests and attend all classes.
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Instructor
